Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Delivery Driver Lead/Trainer in Waynesboro, VA to onboard and train drivers, lead safety initiatives, and ensure timely deliveries. The role requires CDL-A, driving experience, and English proficiency. You will conduct customer visits, verify deliveries, and mentor drivers on policies and performance.

Qualifications

Must have valid CDL Class A with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery.
Must read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Lead classroom onboarding for new drivers and mentor on safety policies.
Train drivers on company procedures and monitor compliance/performancer.
Conduct customer site visits to determine feasibility of delivery and verify deliveries with customers.
Unload products safely with pallet jack or by hand and obtain signatures.
Collaborate with Night Warehouse Supervisors on safety and visual aids.
