Job summary

US Foods, Inc. in the Richmond area is seeking a Delivery Driver Lead/Trainer to onboard new drivers, uphold safety standards, and mentor staff on routes, policies, and performance.

You will conduct classroom onboarding, participate in safety initiatives, perform customer site checks, and support training through hands-on coaching and post-accident reviews as needed. Excellent English communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• CDL Class A with endorsements and proper DOT qualifications.
• Minimum six months commercial driving experience, or three months in food/bev delivery.
• Ability to read/communicate in English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom onboarding for new drivers.
• Participate in the Safety Performance Team and emphasize safety.
• Train and mentor drivers on policies, procedures and performance.
• Perform customer site visits to assess delivery feasibility.
• Collaborate with Night Warehouse Supervisors on safety and demonstrations.
• Lead post-accident ride-alongs to identify root causes and retraining.
• Complete mandated trainings and onboarding programs.
