Job summary

Vantor is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support analytics capabilities for a large-scale U.S. Government data platform.

You will apply statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and other techniques to extract insights from complex datasets for mission-critical needs. You will collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and government stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, production-oriented analytics workflows while communicating findings

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with TS/SCI clearance (CI poly).
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in a technical role.
• Experience in data science, analytics, ML, or related discipline.
• Strong Python, SQL, and Elasticsearch experience.
• Willingness to onsite 90% at Herndon, VA or Westminster, CO.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and evaluate statistical models and ML solutions.
• Analyze large, diverse datasets to identify patterns and insights.
• Develop, train, validate, and optimize ML models; assess performance.
• Operationalize analytical models with data engineers and software developers.
• Translate requirements and communicate findings to stakeholders.
