Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise data protection capabilities across structured and unstructured data. You will design privacy-by-design architectures, partner with security, legal, and compliance teams, and drive scalable solutions to safeguard sensitive information while enabling innovation.

In this role, you will mentor cross-functional teams, conduct privacy risk assessments and threat modeling, and help CVS Health meet regulatory requirements such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in privacy/security engineering or data protection.
• Experience designing enterprise data protection capabilities (encryption, tokenization, DLP).
• Hands-on programming in Python/Java/Go or similar.
• Cloud/DevSecOps experience with CI/CD, IaC, and security automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and implementation of enterprise data protection and privacy engineering across data environments.
• Design and deploy Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) and other privacy-preserving solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, legal, compliance, and security teams to embed privacy-by-design.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments, risk modeling, and control evaluations for audits and regulatory obligations.
• Drive governance metrics, automation, and advanced analytics to strengthen privacy posture.
