Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance our enterprise privacy engineering and data protection capabilities across structured and unstructured data environments.

You will design and deploy Privacy Enhancing Technologies, lead cross‑functional privacy initiatives, and drive risk assessments, governance, and regulatory alignment while enabling secure, compliant data use across one of the nation’s largest healthcare organizations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in privacy, security, or data protection engineering.
• 5+ years deploying enterprise-scale data protection capabilities.
• Experience with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA and related regs.
• Strong programming in Python, Java or Go.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data protection and privacy engineering initiatives.
• Design, deploy, and optimize PETs like encryption, tokenization, DLP.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance and engineering to embed privacy‑by‑design.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments and threat modeling across systems.
