Qualifications

• 8+ years of data/platform architecture experience
• Strong hands-on experience with modern data platforms (e.g., lakehouse, data vault)
• Excellent communication and governance skills

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise data platform architecture across lakehouse layers
• Evaluate platform technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure) for storage, compute, and orchestration
• Design ingestion, ELT/ETL, and orchestration patterns for batch and streaming workloads
• Adhere to data governance and catalog architecture using Purview or similar tools
• Establish reference architecture and platform standards including security and compliance
• Guide trade-off decisions on architecture options and lead proof-of-concepts
• Lead capacity and cost planning for compute and storage with FinOps practices
• Maintain platform documentation and sponsor ARB submissions
