Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Engineering and platform implementation.
• 3+ years leading data engineering teams or programs.
• Strong hands-on with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, SQL, Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise data platforms using Databricks and cloud tech.
• Define data engineering standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Review designs and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Drive adoption of Lakehouse architecture with Delta Lake and modern methods.
• Lead performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-management initiatives.
• Architect and develop batch, streaming, and real-time pipelines.
• Build data products for analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and apps.
• Oversee data integration across ERP, trading, ops, and third parties.
• Establish reusable frameworks, accelerators, and reference architectures.
• Ensure monitoring, observability, and operational excellence.
• Implement governance with Unity Catalog, metadata, and data lineage.
• Drive data cataloging, classification, access controls, and auditability.
• Lead and mentor a team of Data Engineers.
• Conduct design and code reviews and provide coaching.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, Data Scientists.
