Job summary

STO Building Group—via LF Driscoll—is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to support a data center project in Columbus, Ohio. The role focuses on field coordination, quality control, and day-to-day supervision of subcontractors to ensure timely, cost-effective construction.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of field experience, with preference given to mission-critical data center work and prior supervisory responsibility.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of field experience.
• Mission Critical (Data Center) experience preferred.
• Experience with supervisory roles such as General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule and maintains accurate reports on status.
• Oversees timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and supervision of subcontracted work forces.
• Reviews status and progress with the Project Manager and client representatives; multi-superintendent environments on large projects.
• Ensures safety standards are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
• Analyzes manpower, materials, and equipment needs and coordinates with supervising staff.
• Implements and enforces field policies, procedures, and work rules.
• Ensures safety standards are maintained in operational areas and equipment is safe to operate.
