Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Lead Superintendent for a Data Center project in Missouri. You will independently manage all field operations on a $108,300-$160,000 salary range, with on-site responsibilities daily and leadership of trade contractors and safety programs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 7–12 years’ superintendent experience on large commercial/industrial builds, preferably including hyperscale data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 7–12 years of experience leading a component of work or whole project for $30M+ on commercial/industrial construction as a Superintendent.
• Experience on hyperscale data center projects is desirable.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• STS-C Certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training.
• Equivalency accepted.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors to meet the project schedule.
• Develops and communicates the field work plan for changes.
• Maintains contract documents to anticipate issues.
• Ensures permits are obtained for construction activities.
• Leads safety enforcement and safety culture on site.
• Leads contractor meetings and manages daily reports.
• Creates and updates the project schedule and contingency plans.
• Coordinates jobsite logistics and material orders.
• Trains and mentors field engineers and superintendents.
• Participates in buyout and scopes of work; supports time and materials tracking.
• Collaborates with business development to align with sales strategies.
