Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead operations across AWS data centers, ensuring reliability and uptime beyond 99.999%. The role covers electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems and requires Top Secret/SCI eligibility.

You will manage 24x7 engineering teams, coordinate with vendors, and drive improvement projects while controlling operating costs. This position is based in the United States (OH, Hilliard) and demands a strong safety and security culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management/team lead function experience.
• 3+ years of work in data centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operation experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure and ensure high-quality work with no impact to customers.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians in all facets of their career.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion.
• Coordinate daily with third party vendors to ensure SLAs are met.
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
• Routinely act as the afterhours on-call Data Center Facility Manager for the region.
