Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Data Center Facility Manager to lead the critical physical infrastructure and ensure 99.999% uptime in its U.S. data centers.

You will manage 24x7 engineering teams, drive improvement projects, coordinate with vendors, and own the operations budget, including after-hours on-call responses. Based in Ohio, this role requires Top Secret with SCI eligibility for access to sensitive environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management/team lead experience.
• 3+ years of work in data centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operation experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians in all facets of their career.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion.
• Coordinate daily with a multitude of third party vendors ensuring adherence to contracted SLAs.
• Effectively and efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures.
• Routinely operate as the afterhours on‑call Data Center Facility Manager in the region.
