Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead and optimize the physical infrastructure of our data centers. You will oversee electrical and mechanical systems, coordinate with vendors, and manage on-call coverage to ensure continuous availability.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and efficiency, with a focus on high-quality operations and cost-effective performance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a managerial/supervisory role with 5+ direct reports
• 3+ years in industrial electrical or mechanical systems
• 3+ years of administrative experience including Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians in all facets of their career
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion
• Coordinates daily with a multitude of third party vendors ensuring adherence to contracted SLAs
• Effectively and efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures
• Routinely operate as the afterhours on-call Data Center Facility Manager for the data centers in the region
