Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to act as the technical bridge among internal stakeholders, construction partners, design firms, and customers. You will lead the design phase of Crusoe’s data center campus projects, ensuring safe, compliant, reliable, and constructible large-scale power distribution while accelerating project execution.

The role demands expert NEC/NFPA/IEEE knowledge, 10+ years in electrical design for data centers or mission-critical facilities, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10+ years of electrical design experience, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA/IEEE standards.
• Experience designing large-scale power distribution in data center campuses.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical equipment for critical power paths (transformers, LV/MV switchgear, UPS, distribution, protection and controls).
• Advance design from concepts to construction-ready sets.
• Review drawings, specs, and shop drawings for compliance with Basis of Design.
• Support Field Engineering with RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications during construction.
• Participate in factory witness testing for engineered or complex electrical equipment.
