Job summary

Crusoe is seeking an Infrastructure Design Engineer to plan, design, and implement data center whitespace environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency. You will partner with Facilities, Electrical, Mechanical, and Cloud teams to align whitespace layouts with current and future cloud workloads.

You will design rack layouts, integrate power distribution and cooling, optimize capacity and redundancy, and produce CAD/BIM drawings and 3D models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and 5+ years in data center design.
• Experience with power distribution, UPS architectures, cooling systems.
• Proficient in CAD/BIM and network cabling design.

Responsibilities

• Design whitespace layouts with rack placement and airflow strategy.
• Coordinate power distribution, cooling, and cabling with teams.
• Validate redundancy and SLA alignment in designs.
• Create CAD/BIM drawings and 3D models of whitespace.
• Develop capacity planning models for growth and scaling.
• Support construction, commissioning, and site inspections.
