Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to design, integrate, and validate electrical systems for custom power and control products. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years in manufacturing or project environments, with strong NEC and low‑voltage distribution knowledge.

Relocation to the Denver area is possible; open to discussion. You will work across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services teams to drive manufacturing improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and 7+ years in manufacturing/construction/project environments.
  • Solid knowledge of NEC and low-voltage power distribution systems.
  • Experience performing load calculations on machine and control panels per NEC/UL 508A.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
  • Proven ability to work with production, procurement, PM, and sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical design deliverables: one-line diagrams, control schematics, BOMs, and submittals.
  • Confirm material accuracy by reviewing vendor bids and submittals for technical accuracy.
  • Perform branch circuits and feeder calculations for power distribution equipment.
  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement.
