Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems LLC is seeking a Facilities Engineer for our Snyder, TX data center. You will own the physical infrastructure, from electrical distribution to HVAC, cooling, and BMS, partnering with operations, construction, and energy teams to meet uptime and efficiency targets.

You will lead maintenance programs, monitor health via DCIM/BMS, and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and OSHA. Strong collaboration and troubleshooting skills are essential in a fast-paced, safety-focused

Qualifications

• 3+ years in facilities engineering, data center operations or critical infrastructure.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical systems (medium/low voltage), UPS/PDUs, generators, ATS.
• Experience with mechanical/cooling systems: CRAC/CRAH, chilled water plants, cooling towers, precision air systems.
• Familiarity with BMS/DCIM platforms for monitoring and control.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, OSHA codes.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and sound judgment under pressure.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of facility systems (electrical, HVAC, cooling, BMS).
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs; manage work orders to completion.
• Monitor facility health via DCIM and BMS; identify anomalies and respond to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with construction and capital projects on expansions, retrofits, and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, OSHA codes.
• Maintain critical documentation (diagrams, logs, SOPs).
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance and inspections.
• Support capacity planning for power, cooling, and space utilization.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call operations; uphold safety protocols.
