Job summary

QTS Data Centers in the United States is seeking a Senior Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction on multiple campus projects. You will collaborate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Data Center Operations staff to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Science or Engineering, 5+ years in commercial construction delivery (Lump Sum, CM@Risk, Design-Build), strong MS Office skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for updates and Excel for budgets.
• Be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
• US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create and communicate monthly updates for executive reviews to support decision making.
• Work with stakeholders, design, and construction teams to develop a master development program and budget.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site project.
• Write scopes of work for design, construction, and commissioning services and participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Evaluate and level pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services.
