QTS Data Centers is seeking a Senior Development Project Engineer to support design, preconstruction and construction activities for premier data center projects. The role interfaces daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Data Center Operations, with strong communication skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience across Lump Sum, CM @ Risk, and Design Build delivery methods.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
• US Citizenship required due to federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Development leadership and Project Manager with day to day activities.
• Assist with multiple projects on a campus and maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Assist with updates on development program & project status for executive reviews.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to help with campus design solutions and budget.
• Support entitlement and permitting needs for each site project.
