Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead Data Center projects from our Iowa Business Unit in Des Moines, IA. This role reports to the senior Project Manager and focuses on profitable field operations, safety culture, and strong client/vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years as a Project Superintendent, with GC experience and proven leadership. Data Center exposure is strongly preferred.

• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Strong communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontractors and field forces on the jobsite.
• Maintain safety culture and enforce safety protocols.
• Develop and update project schedules and resource allocation.
• Oversee daily construction activities to meet quality, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and manage performance and contracts.
• Maintain accurate cost reports and project documentation.
