Broadcom is seeking a Modeling Architect in the Fort Collins area to lead a team building a foundational die-to-die PHY modeling platform. You will focus on communication theory, modeling, and architecture verification to align models with silicon.

The role requires deep expertise in high-speed SerDes, D2D architectures, and experience with MATLAB, Python, and SystemC for system-level simulations. You will mentor engineers and drive performance validation across disciplines.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 12+ years (PhD) or 15+ years (MS) of field experience.
• Deep understanding of communication theory, equalization, and adaptive algorithms.
• Experience in high-speed SerDes or die-to-die communication architectures.
• Extensive modeling in MATLAB, Python, SystemC, or equivalent.
• Experience from architecture model to RTL verification.

Responsabilités

• Lead system-level modeling and performance prediction across link behavior.
• Develop behavioral models using MATLAB, Python, SystemC; simulate BER and latency.
• Drive architectural verification and silicon correlation with RTL to silicon.
• Mentor engineers and influence technology roadmaps across teams.
• Guide design for robust operation under varying PVT and noise.
