Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Cyber Defense Engineer IV to perform complex problem analysis and resolution across cloud security, IAM, infrastructure protection, cyber recovery, DR engineering, application security, DevSecOps, security tooling and data loss prevention. This role executes increasingly complex day-to-day Cyber Defense Engineering activities within their assigned domain.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field and eight (8) to twelve (12) years of related experience or equivalent experience.
• Manages multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Communicates complex procedures to other colleagues.
• Required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Impacts multiple areas, functions or processes.
• Designs and constructs moderately complex interfaces between ERP and legacy systems.
• Provides production support of moderately complex applications in production by troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, developing and testing fixes, and migrating solutions.
• Develops and maintains applications for business processes and systems.
• Monitors quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance.
