Job summary

USA MOT Motion Industries, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Defense Engineer IV to analyze and resolve complex security challenges across cloud, IAM, infrastructure protection, cyber recovery, and DR engineering. This role executes increasingly complex defense activities within their assigned domain.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize secure software solutions, collaborate across IT teams, and ensure adherence to best practices while advancing automation and threat detection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; typically 8–12 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements design and builds interfaces between ERP and legacy systems; provides production support for moderately complex applications.
• Uses back-end and front-end scripting to optimize performance, scalability and security.
• Codes logic for new or existing software per design specs; ensures adherence to development standards.
• Handles installation, configuration, development, workflow design, monitoring, and upgrades of software products.
• Maintains records of issues with existing code; monitors quality and performance through testing and maintenance.
• Develops and maintains applications for business processes and systems.
