Job summary

Michaels in Saint Augustine, FL is seeking a Lead Framer who will guide a team of framing specialists, nurture customer relationships, and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions.

You will partner with the Store Manager to plan workload, manage inventory, train new team members, and uphold SOPs while ensuring safety and excellent service. The role requires strong leadership, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers create memorable framing.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.
• Framing knowledge or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing solutions.
• Assist Store Manager with SOPs, policies and store condition execution.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Plan workload and ensure framing solutions are delivered on time.
• Manage inventory, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Participate in interviewing, onboarding and training of new team members.
