Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking an experienced CT technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate diagnostic imaging services with a focus on quality and patient care.

You will perform technical procedures, set up and operate imaging equipment, and execute advanced CT protocols such as TAVR, Cardiac CTA, and lung screenings, while verifying orders and maintaining patient identification and labeling accuracy.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT radiography and CT certifications.
• BLS certification and at least 2 years of clinical experience with 1 year in CT.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical procedures, set up and operate imaging equipment, and execute advanced CT protocols (TAVR, Cardiac CTA, lung screenings).
• Verify clinician orders, assess patient history, administer contrast safely, and ensure proper patient identification and labeling.

Job description

This role involves providing safe, age-appropriate diagnostic imaging services with a focus on quality and patient care.

• Responsibilities include performing a variety of technical procedures, setting up and operating imaging equipment, and executing advanced protocols such as TAVR, Cardiac CTA, and lung screenings.
• The technologist will verify clinician orders, assess patient history, administer contrast media safely, and ensure accurate patient identification and labeling.
• They will respond to emergencies, maintain equipment, and uphold infection control standards.
• Leadership duties include managing workflow, communicating performance concerns, collaborating on protocol updates, and supporting staff onboarding and competency validation.
• The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and under pressure, and proficiency in all aspects of CT imaging, including patient positioning, radiation safety, and quality control.

Minimum qualifications include completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT radiography and CT certifications, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of clinical experience with 1 year in CT.

Preferred skills encompass strong customer service, multitasking, teamwork, and teaching abilities, along with a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, pathology, and quality standards.
