Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association seeks a Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging and independent procedures with focus on patient care and safety.

You will verify orders, assess history, administer contrast, and review images while maintaining privacy and comfort. Mentoring, workflow management, and throughput optimization are also expected to support a dynamic radiology department.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience with 1 year in CT.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and assess patient history for imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast media when indicated and ensure patient safety.
• Review images and determine quality and appropriateness of exams.

The role involves providing high-quality, safe diagnostic imaging services with a focus on patient care, equipment setup, and independent procedure execution.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, assessing patient history, administering contrast media, ensuring proper patient identification, reviewing images, responding to emergencies, and maintaining patient privacy and comfort.

Technicians must perform advanced protocols like TAVR, Cardiac CTA, and lung screenings, while mentoring colleagues and managing departmental workflows.

Leadership duties encompass optimizing patient throughput, managing supplies, participating in meetings, and supporting staff development and compliance.

Strong communication, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications include completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, BLS certification, with at least 2 years of clinical experience and 1 year in CT.
