Health Here in Redan, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to provide safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging using CT technology, including patient prep, procedure execution, equipment setup and post-processing.
Responsibilities include verifying clinician orders, administering contrast, ensuring patient safety, handling emergencies, and maintaining image quality per radiologist feedback. The technologist will lead workflow, mentor staff, ensure compliance and participate in process improvements.
This role involves providing safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging using CT technology, with responsibilities including patient preparation, procedure execution, equipment setup, and post-processing of advanced protocols such as TAVR and Cardiac CTA.
Key duties include verifying clinician orders, administering contrast media, ensuring patient safety and comfort, responding to emergencies, and maintaining image quality based on radiologist feedback.
The technologist will lead workflow, collaborate with leadership on protocol implementation, manage departmental supplies, and serve as a mentor and trainer for staff. They will ensure regulatory compliance, participate in process improvements, and support departmental operations.
Qualifications include completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of clinical experience with a minimum of 1 year in CT. Strong communication, independent functioning, attention to detail, and proficiency in advanced CT protocols are essential.
