Job summary

Role Overview:

This position involves performing a wide range of diagnostic CT procedures, including advanced protocols such as TAVR and Cardiac CTA, with a focus on patient safety, quality imaging, and departmental leadership. The technologist will set up equipment, position patients, administer contrast media, and ensure proper image quality.

Responsibilities:

Verify orders, obtain patient history, monitor patient condition, and follow safety protocols. Manage equipment, perform quality control, and maintain departmental operations. Provide patient education using AIDET, assist in training new staff, and support leadership initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support department efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS certification are required. Minimum of 2 years clinical experience with at least 1 year in CT, along with excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in advanced protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety is essential. Ability to mentor colleagues and handle high-pressure situations is vital.
