Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care in Suwanee, GA seeks a skilled CT technologist to deliver safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging. You will prepare and position patients, perform advanced CT protocols such as TAVR and Cardiac CTA, ensure image quality, and maintain equipment.

The role requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and mentorship. You will supervise workflow, train staff, participate in quality control, and support process improvements while prioritizing patient safety

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT Radiography and CT certifications, and BLS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience, with 1 year in CT.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and advanced protocols.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Verify orders, obtain patient history, and administer contrast safely.
  • Ensure proper patient identification, labeling, and privacy.
  • Perform and review diagnostic images, respond to emergencies, and assist with patient care.
  • Operate imaging equipment, adjust techniques to minimize radiation, and maintain sterile procedures.
  • Manage departmental workflow, supply levels, and regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor colleagues, participate in quality control, and support process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff, providing clear instructions and addressing concerns.

Role Overview:

This position involves providing safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging services as a CT technologist.
