Role Overview: This position involves providing safe, age-appropriate diagnostic imaging services, primarily in computed tomography (CT), requiring independent judgment, technical proficiency, and patient care skills. The technologist will set up equipment, position patients, perform advanced protocols, and ensure image quality while adhering to safety standards.
Manage workflow, communicate performance concerns, assist with staff onboarding, participate in process improvements, and serve as a liaison across departments. Mentoring and training fellow technologists are also essential.
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certifications in Radiography and CT, BLS certification, with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience and 1 year in CT. Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills are required, along with proficiency in advanced protocols and quality control.
