Proforma Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality diagnostics. You will set up equipment, position patients, and execute CT protocols with independence, while delivering compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities include verifying orders, administering contrast safely when needed, mentoring staff, and contributing to quality improvement and regulatory compliance to sustain safe imaging services.
The CT Technologist performs a variety of advanced imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, quality diagnostics, and departmental efficiency. They set up equipment, position patients, and execute protocols such as TAVR, Cardiac CTA, and lung/heart screenings independently. They provide compassionate patient care, verify orders, administer contrast media safely, and monitor patient conditions, responding to emergencies when needed.
They oversee departmental workflow in absence of the chief tech, manage staff performance, participate in quality improvement, assist with hiring and training, and serve as a liaison between departments. They support regulatory compliance and departmental initiatives.
Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years clinical patient care experience, with 1 year in CT. Must demonstrate excellent communication, independent functioning, customer service, attention to detail, and proficiency in advanced protocols, radiation safety, and equipment maintenance.
Verify orders, prepare patients, perform technical procedures, maintain image quality, manage equipment, document accurately, and support departmental operations. They also educate patients, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with standards to deliver high-quality, safe imaging services.
