Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent certification/on‑the‑job training.
• Minimum of three years’ editorial experience and two years’ educational assessment experience.
• Strong end‑to‑end copyediting proficiency: spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, usage.

Responsibilities

• Implements grammar, spelling, usage, punctuation, syntax, and style per standards; applies rules consistently.
• Ensures uniformity and consistency across assessment components and identifies errors.
• Queries deviations from client style guidelines and may modify client style rules.
• Understands scope of copyediting responsibilities and flags concerns when needed.
• Proactively seeks opportunities to strengthen editorial expertise and stay current with style guides.
