Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in education, educational leadership, policy, statistics, or a related field.
• Valid Texas principal or administrator certificate (preferred)
• Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser certification

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the district’s TIA program across campuses.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve local designation and performance management systems.
• Oversee evaluator training, calibration, and professional learning to ensure high-quality instructional evaluation practices.
• Collaborate with district leaders to strengthen teacher effectiveness and student outcomes.
• Develop workflows, timelines, and accountability structures for TIA processes districtwide.
• Maintain TIA documentation, handbook, and webinars; communicate plan revisions to stakeholders.
• Monitor student growth data and ensure accurate reporting of results.
• Provide targeted professional learning for evaluators, administrators, and instructional leaders.
• Ensure compliance with state requirements and district standards in all TIA activities.
