Job summary

Alief Independent School District is seeking a 2026-2027 TIA & Strategic Compensation Manager in Human Resources to lead the Teacher Incentive Allotment program and educator effectiveness initiatives.

This role emphasizes implementing TIA, ensuring compliance, engaging stakeholders, analyzing data, and reporting progress to advance goals for attracting and retaining high-quality educators, especially in hard-to-staff schools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university.
Master’s degree preferred.
Knowledge of the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program, including designation system and guidelines.
Experience presenting to stakeholder groups.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity in large groups.
Strong Excel data analysis skills and mindset.
Minimum three years of teaching experience in Alief preferred.
Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coordinate, and monitor district educator effectiveness initiatives, including TIA and related programs.
Manage compliance with TEA requirements, submissions, audits, and timelines.
Serve as district coordinator for TIA implementation and related educator incentive initiatives.
Develop implementation plans, timelines, and progress-tracking tools.
Coordinate stakeholder committees and communication efforts.
Develop dashboards, reports, and updates for district leadership and the Board.
Provide training and technical assistance to stakeholders.
Monitor educator effectiveness indicators and program outcomes.
Lead special projects and strategic initiatives from HR leadership.
