Job summary

The Summit team at Elior North America is seeking an experienced cook supervisor in Albany, OR to coordinate and supervise a fast-paced correctional kitchen. You will guide staff, ensure on-time meal service, maintain high-quality portions, appearance, and food safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of high-volume, scratch cooking experience, strong multitasking ability, and prior supervision skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in high-volume, scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods and standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team and providing training.
• Food handlers certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
