Qualifications

• Comprehension of verbal and written recipes, production orders, and cooking instructions.
• Follow health and safety regulations with regard to equipment use and personal hygiene.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Move objects approximately 35 lbs. to waist height.
• Adhere to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.
• Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Receive, unpack, date, rotate and stow deliveries.
• May perform other jobs as determined by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, preparation and cooking of foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees and catering.
• Set up station prior to service with required equipment and ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food-handling regulations.
• Provide courteous customer service to staff and students at all times.
