We seek a Lead Cook for a private school kitchen, responsible for preparing fresh meals and keeping the service running smoothly. The role is full-time and benefits-eligible, offering a $25/hour wage, meals, uniforms, and a schedule that preserves weekends.

Qualifications

• Comprehension of verbal and written recipes, production orders and cooking instructions.
• Adherence to health, safety and food handling regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, preparation and cooking of foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees and catering.
• Set up stations prior to service with required equipment and ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area per health, safety and food handling guidelines.
• Provide courteous customer service at all times.
