Job summary

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least one year of cooking experience in a healthcare environment, with ServSafe certification preferred. Must be able to read procedures and recipes and collaborate with staff across departments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and cooking area in a safe, sanitary condition.
• Prepare meals in large quantities and follow prepared menus.
• Record food temperatures and ensure compliance with dietary guidelines.
• Supervise dietary staff in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
• Assist with serving meals and cleaning cooking areas.
