Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in dining services or food preparation.
• Serv-Safe certification required or willing to complete within 60 days of hire.
• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions clearly.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items following standard recipes.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area at all times.
• Supervise dietary staff in absence of Dining Services Director.
• Ensure proper food temperatures and safety practices are followed.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Familiarize with residents' dietary needs and preferences.
