Qualifications

• Must have dining services experience.
• Must be Serv-Safe certified or willing to complete certification within 60 days of hire.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals from approved menus and recipes.
• Supervise dietary staff when Dining Services Director is absent.
• Maintain clean, orderly kitchen and report faulty equipment.
• Record proper refrigerator/freezer temperatures twice daily.
• Monitor portion sizes to minimize waste.
• Observe sanitation and safety requirements in handling food and equipment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods as needed.
