Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking an ID&C Supervisor to lead and deliver complex instrumentation, data, and control system work at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. The role balances technical leadership with people management, overseeing 10–20 engineers and specialists within a DoD-focused mission.

U.S. Citizenship is required; DoD Secret clearance is needed. The position offers full-time, exempt scheduling with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field with 5+ years ID&C systems experience.
Engineering Technology degree with 5+ years ID&C design experience and an additional 2 years in engineering/technical design roles.
U.S. Citizenship required due to air force security requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, hazard analysis, verification, and resolution for complex ID&C systems.
Provide senior technical guidance, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis during active test operations.
Supervise 10–20 instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems engineers and specialists.
