Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) seeks a Power Systems Engineer at Arnold AFB, TN to support the AEDC Test Operations and Sustainment contract. The role concentrates on low voltage distribution (480V and below) from TVA to multiple substations for test facilities and infrastructure.

The position blends field work with designated office tasks, requiring knowledge of motors, switchgear, PLCs, and related electrical power components. U.S. citizenship and clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required for employment at AEDC.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical system engineering for power control group.
• Maintain preventive maintenance processes in CMMS.
• Interface with Air Force customer to ensure asset maintenance per AF standards.
• Prepare specs, calculations, and installation/checkout instructions.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance and asset management programs.
