Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Controls Engineer III to lead the design, integration, and delivery of automation projects across industrial environments. You will guide tasks on small to mid-sized efforts, providing engineering expertise through design, testing, and commissioning.

This onsite role requires travel up to 50% and collaboration with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams to ensure safe, reliable solutions that meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 4+ years in industrial automation, controls, or system integration.
• Experience leading engineering tasks or small projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Perform FATs for automation systems.
• Develop and implement PLC/HMI solutions.
• Review wiring diagrams and technical documents.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet schedule and quality.
