Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer III to design, integrate, and deliver automation projects across industrial environments. You will lead tasks or small projects, contribute to design, testing, and commissioning, and collaborate with engineers and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Typically 4+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or system integration environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering tasks or small project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Lead FATs for automation systems.
• Develop and implement HMI and PLC-based automation solutions.
• Interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics for control system designs.
• Review technical documentation for accuracy and quality.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and commissioning teams.
