Job summary
Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer III to design, integrate, and deliver automation and control systems across industrial environments. You will lead tasks on small to mid-sized projects and provide engineering expertise through design, implementation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams to ensure safe, reliable delivery aligned with project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
- Typically 4+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or system integration environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering tasks or small project scopes.
Responsibilities
- Lead start-up and commissioning of control systems.
- Lead and perform FATs for automation systems.
- Interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics and provide field condition feedback.
- Develop and implement HMI and PLC-based automation solutions.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams to ensure project success.
- Review technical documentation for accuracy and quality.
