Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer III to lead design, integration and delivery of automation projects across industrial environments. You will guide tasks, collaborate with managers and teams, and ensure safe, reliable delivery aligned with project goals.

The role emphasizes leadership of engineering tasks, field-ready expertise, and growth into advanced technical and project leadership positions. Onsite in East Windsor, NJ with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, CS, or related technical discipline.
• Typically 4+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or system integration.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering tasks or small project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Perform FATs for automation systems.
• Interpret P&IDs and electrical diagrams; provide field feedback.
• Develop and implement HMI and PLC-based automation solutions.
• Contribute to design and implementation of complex control systems.
