Job summary
Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer III to design, integrate, and deliver automation and control system projects across industrial and mission-critical environments. Lead tasks or small projects, providing engineering expertise through design, implementation, testing, and commissioning phases.
You will work with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams to ensure safe, reliable delivery aligned with project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
- Typically 4+ years in industrial automation, controls engineering, or system integration.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering tasks or small project scopes.
Responsibilities
- Lead start-up and commissioning of control systems.
- Perform FAT for automation systems.
- Interpret P&IDs and electrical diagrams; provide field feedback.
- Develop and implement HMI and PLC-based automation solutions.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery.
