Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer III to lead design, integration and delivery of automation projects at client sites in Beaver Dam, WI. The role focuses on leading tasks across design, implementation, testing and commissioning of control systems.

You will work with project managers, engineers and commissioning teams to deliver safe, reliable systems, while growing into more advanced technical and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years in industrial automation, controls engineering, or system integration.
• Experience leading engineering tasks or small projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Lead and perform FATs for automation systems.
• Interpret P&IDs and electrical diagrams.
• Develop and implement HMI and PLC-based automation solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide updates on progress, risks and technical challenges to leadership.
