Job summary

Baxter in the United States is seeking a Principal Controls Engineer to lead advanced automation projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and mentor teammates.

You will design, implement, and validate control systems, collaborate with multi-functional teams, and drive improvements across production lines while upholding Baxter's commitment to quality and patient care. A strong background in AB PLCs, robotics, vision, and Lean practices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with AB PLCs, Safety PLCs and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop or participate in development of solutions for assigned projects.
• Lead cross-functional coordination on manufacturing regulatory issues.
• Write, implement, and report on validation activities.
• Design and perform routine testing and data analysis.
• Lead change control and NCR/CAPA investigations.
