Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking an engineering technologist/related role to support manufacturing operations, troubleshoot equipment, and implement improvements.

You will work with PLCs, servos, robotics, HMIs, and other control components under guidance from engineers. The position emphasizes project management, SOP creation, and cross-functional collaboration to drive process enhancements while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in engineering technologist or related technical role.
• Experience in a Penicillin/Cephalosporin facility preferred.
• Project management capability with coordinating technical tasks.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment and improve reliability and performance in manufacturing operations.
• Diagnose and repair automation systems including PLCs, servos, robotics, HMIs.
• Manage medium to large technical projects, ensuring on-time completion.
• Provide engineering support within project teams and drive process improvements.
• Prepare and implement SOPs for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Collaborate across multifunctional teams to execute process improvements.
