Job summary

Baxter is seeking an experienced engineer to support daily operations, drive automation improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance in a Penicillin/Cephalosporin manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot equipment, lead validation activities, and mentor staff while advancing Industry 4.0 initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 8+ years of manufacturing experience, onsite work with less than 10% travel, and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required or preferred.
• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Onsite Penicillin/Cephalosporin facility experience is expected.
• Strong regulatory compliance and validation experience.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations with control system improvements.
• Lead validation and NCR/CAPA activities.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automated equipment for throughput and uptime.
• Advance Industry 4.0 initiatives and data integration.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and compliance teams.
• Own change control activities and document validation protocols.
• Provide leadership and technical direction on engineering initiatives.
• Direct oversight of employees.
